Is this invoice generator really free?

Can I use it for my country's tax system?
Yes. Pick a country preset and the generator applies the right currency and tax - Nigeria (VAT 7.5%), Ghana (VAT 15%), Kenya (VAT 16%), South Africa (VAT 15%), India (GST 18%), UK (VAT 20%), US (Sales Tax), Canada (GST/HST 5%), Australia (GST 10%), Germany, France, and UAE (VAT 5%). Every field stays editable, so reduced rates and custom setups work too.
What should a professional invoice include?
Your business name and contact details, your tax ID (TIN, GSTIN, VAT number or equivalent), the client's name and address, a unique invoice number, issue and due dates, a description of goods or services with quantities and unit prices, the tax rate and amount, the total due, and payment instructions.
Does it work for GST invoices in India?
Yes - select the India preset and the invoice uses ₹ (INR) with GST at 18% by default, plus a GSTIN field for both you and your client. Change the rate to 5% for reduced-slab items - since the September 2025 GST reform, 5% and 18% are the main slabs. How is the tax calculated?
Tax is applied to the subtotal at the rate you set: subtotal × rate = tax, and subtotal + tax = total due. If your sale is zero-rated or tax-free, set the rate to 0 and no tax line appears on the PDF.
